OPEN HOUSE
The new office for the OEA reached capacity on October 8, 2008 when the program was officially launched during an Open House held in Historic Properties. Among those in attendance were government representatives, persons representing Nova Scotia industries and business leaders from all over the province. Both Nancy MacCready-Williams (CEO, Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia) and Margaret MacDonald (Deputy Minister, Department of Labour and Workforce Development) warmly welcomed the new program to the province.
